Sydney-based singer-songwriter Odette - real name Georgia Sally Banks - has signed a new worldwide management deal with Josh Milgate and Larissa Jane Ryan from Hutch Collective.

Odette - who will release new music this week - joins a boutique roster featuring captivating singer-songwriter Didirri, daring alt-pop artist Kat Edwards and lyrical assassin Ro.

“I’m so excited to announce my signing with Hutch Collective," Odette said.

"After a beautiful, formative and career-establishing eight years with FGP, I'm moving into the next year honouring my foundations and diving into the deep end of the creative unknown.

"Josh and Larissa are fiery, powerful and emboldened people and I am ecstatic to be embarking on this journey with them,” the singer said of her new deal.

Hutch Collective said it champions "a collaborative approach" to management, who also produce music videos and creative content inhouse for their artists, and others.

The business was formed by Milgate and Ryan "in an inflatable swimming pool" in 2016.

Odette, who will play a sold-out show at the Darlinghurst Theatre Company tonight (October 20), is signed to EMI Music Australia for records and Universal Music Publishing.

She released a trio of songs via triple j Unearthed in 2014/15 and reached a breakthrough when the sounds of ‘Watch Me Read You’ tore down her radio barrier.

The delicate slice of indie-pop teeters in spoken-word poetry and it struck a chord with the country, landing at #56 on triple j’s Hottest 100 of 2017.

Odette's first album To A Stranger, produced by Damian Taylor, debuted at #13 on the ARIA Albums Chart, resulting in her first ARIAs nomination for Breakthrough Artist in 2018.
