Sydney-based singer-songwriter merci, mercy is going global, sharing details of two rest of world (ROW) deals with Capitol US and EMI UK.

The local act will work with both imprints to service her music for international audiences, while Mushroom's Liberation Records will continue to represent her catalogue in Australia and New Zealand.

News of merci, mercy's ROW deal arrives alongside her latest single 'Winnie Crush'.

Announcing the deal, merci, mercy expressed her disbelief at the prospect of joining Capitol and EMI and reaching a wider global audience as part of the partnership.

“Signing with Capital Records and EMI (UK) is an extraordinary achievement for me. I still don’t believe that it is real," merci, mercy said.

"The first time meeting the team at Capitol and EMI over Zoom I just fell in love. They liked me for me and they really understood what I wanted to do with my music. I feel so incredibly lucky that I now have some more incredible people on my team.”

Liberation Records managing director Damian Slevison said that the label was looking forward to working alongside Capitol US and EMI UK to assert merci, mercy's place as a global pop phenom.
