Mushroom is on the move.

After spending more than 45 years at Dundas Lane in Victoria's Albert Park, Mushroom Group has announced it's relocating its headquarters to Melbourne's East End, "marking a new chapter for the legendary independent music and entertainment collective."

The new standalone warehouse-style building is housed on Little Collins Street in the city's CBD, and will act as a "central hub for the Group's industry leading operations across international and domestic touring, record labels, talent management, event curation and production, music publishing, creative services, booking agencies, merchandising, brand and marketing services, film production and distribution, neighbouring rights, and much more."

Mushroom Group Chief Executive Matt Gudinski shares:

"Dundas Lane has been our home for nearly fifty years. It's a place that's special to everyone at Mushroom and has been a hub for so many incredible artists and people who helped shape Australia's music industry into what it is today.

"It took many years to identify the right building and location for the future of the company. This is a significant move, and we wanted a space that ticked all the right boxes.

"As Mushroom continues to grow, moving our headquarters into the city places us right in the middle of Melbourne''s vibrant creative and cultural community, positioning us perfectly for the future."
