KLP signs with Medium Rare Recordings & releases new single with LaLa Ri

Kristy Lee Peters, or KLP, has signed with Medium Rare Recordings.

The announcement comes as the performer, producer and former triple j broadcaster releases her new single 'Eat The Runway', featuring vocals from LaLa Ri of Ru Paul's Drag Race USA fame.

KLP has worked with Medium Rare Recordings in the past, to release 'Energy' and 'People Happy' with Stace Cadet.

"We've worked with KLP on some amazing records, and always considered her part of the MRR family, but we're stoked to have her officially signed and can't wait for everyone to hear her new single and everything we've been working on together," the label said.

LaLa Ri said it was an honour to be working with KLP.

"She is an amazing individual and artist, so I'm definitely happy to be sharing such a moment with her," LaLa Ri added.

KLP added: "The day LaLa Ri's vocals dropped in my inbox and I opened them up in Ableton, I was one happy human. LaLa exudes so much energy and joy - it's infectious - and I feel so lucky to be able to work with such a multi-talented queen."

This year, KLP has scored two ARIA nominations, with 'People Happy' nominated for Best Dance Release, and her kids' music project with Matt Okine, Diver City up for Best Children's Album.
