I OH YOU has expanded its roster, announcing today it has signed Hayley Mary and released her debut solo single ‘The Piss The Perfume’.

She follows it up by hitting the road, touring 10 dates with Alex Lahey this month and with some headliners of her own.

Born Hayley Frances McGlone in Byron Bay, the singer-songwriter emerged with The Jezabels who went on to have success in the northern hemisphere.

I OH YOU supremo Johann Ponniah recounted, “I first met Hayley when she had just returned to Australia after a stint overseas and was crashing on the couch at the Redfern share house I was living in.

“That really started this whole thing I guess!

“I knew of Hayley and had always respected her work but hadn’t met her until then.

“Anyway, I was aware that Hayley had been working on new music but hadn’t heard any of the songs until late last year when Johnny Took (of the DMA'S) flicked me a Soundcloud link of demos that they had recorded in Edinburgh a few weeks before.
