Australia’s HomeGrown Trio land publishing deal with Warner Chappell Nashville

Australian siblings HomeGrown Trio, who emerged nationally on The Voice Australia in 2018, have signed a global deal with Warner Chappell Nashville.
Katelyn, Kasey and Liam O’Donoghue relocated to Nashville in 2021 and landed the opening slot of the Jonas Brothers’ US tour.
Christina Wiltshire, A&R director at WCM Nashville, revealed she’d been following HomeGrown Trio since their Australian days.
“I was instantly drawn to their artistic, yet commercial songwriting and effortless sibling harmonies.
“When I finally got to meet them, their warm personalities and strong work ethic stood out to me. It just felt right.”
The band said they're so excited to be working with Warner Chappell.
“Moving to Nashville has always been a dream of ours and to be here, working with such an amazing team is an honour.

The O’Donoghues grew up on a cattle town Dixie Station in Far North Queensland, seven hours away from the nearest town.
In between riding horses, they grew up listening to Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn and Kasey Chambers.
The family moved to Charters Towers where they began music and dance lessons in earnest.
Katelyn picked up the acoustic guitar, Liam the bass and Kasey started mandolin before “sticking to harmonies”.
They built themselves up through festivals as Gympie Muster and Townsville Rock, competitions, touring and issued some EPs.
They first visited Nashville for a writing session for their first album.
The turnaround came on that 2018 The Voice appearance, when all four coaches turned their chairs, and they became part of Joe Jonas’ team.
He signed them to his Let’s Get It Records (through Republic Records) and took them on tour.
HomeGrown signed management deals with Tom Becci and Autumn House of Red Light Management.
They have an EP coming out this year in a joint partnership with Universal’s Republic Records and Universal Nashville.
