ABC Music has bolstered its roster with the signing of Dami Im.

The singer-songwriter will release her first single with the label in September, following a successful run with major label Sony Music Australia.

Im will release new single and music video 'Paper Dragon' on September 18, and has announced plans for a new album set for release in 2021.

Having risen to prominence after winning The X-Factor Australia in 2013, Im also represented Australia at Eurovision in 2016 and earned the highest score by an Aussie.

“ABC Music welcomes Dami Im to our roster with open arms," ABC Music's head of music and events, Natalie Waller, said in a statement announcing the new signing.

"To have the opportunity to work with such a prestigious artist, with so many accolades and achievements behind her and yet so much exciting material to come, is an honour.

"We are counting down the days until we can unleash ‘Paper Dragon’ onto the world!”
