Melbourne power pop band Romero are the latest act to join Collective Artists' roster for live representation in Australia.

The band will be represented by Pat Trotter at Collective, as well as Matthew Cooper of Candy Artists for the UK and Europe.

The signing coincides with the release of their new single 'Troublemaker', which arrived today. All proceeds from purchases made on Bandcamp will be directed towards Pay The Rent.

"Being able to build a team during this time has been a huge blessing. The crew at Collective have been great at collaboratively building a pathway back into playing live again, especially in Victoria where it’s been particularly tricky," the group said in a statement.

"Pat’s an absolute gem and having him on board is a great confidence boost for us all. With Matt and Helena at Candy, just knowing we have an eager team to help us internationally is a real privilege. Being able to form bonds overseas despite not being able to travel there is something truly special and something we’re very much grateful for."

In joining Collective Artists, Romero joins a roster which also includes Ali Barter, Aldous Harding, Julia Jacklin and Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, among others.
