Brisbane post-alt rock band Between Kings signed with Pushworth Music Group for live bookings.

Pushworth’s Manny Kyriakidis said, “The minute I heard the band, I knew we had to be part of this project.

“We have been involved in some of the largest flagship Australian acts and can see that Between Kings has the potential to transcend all before them. “

Kevin Zinger of the band’s record company Regime Music added: “They are great agency with the right connections and vision that will help us break Between Kings in 2019!!"

The agency signing comes as the band amps up its live shows following the release of new single 'When We Were Kids'.

“This song is a love letter to the feeling of nostalgia," Between Kings explained.

"It journeys through young love and feelings of reminiscing and sentimentality as it closes the chapter to a part of life we can all relate to.

“We tried to capture those emotions on ‘When We Were Kids’."

The accompanying video was shot at a sold-out show in Brisbane and directed by Toronto's Reel Wolf Productions.

The new track is off their next album, which is a follow up to The Escape, which was released last May.

Between Kings continue their charity work with national not-for-profit Youngcare.

They ask Australians to “buy a brick’” and help build a home for young people with high care needs living in institutional housing.

A virtual brick is bought for $10 at brickbybrick.youngcare.com.au

Between Kings are Nic Machuca (vocals), Jordan Coyne (guitar), Jayden Marsh (bass) and Nick 'Tricky' Fanning (drums).
