123 Agency signs Hein Cooper

On the eve of dropping his second album Underneath It All (June 14), singer-songwriter Hein Cooper has signed with 123 Agency.

He’s booked for eleven shows across the country between August 3 and 30, with Leonie Kingdom.

Last year after dropping the singles ‘Hear My Voice’ and ‘Over Again’ he played sell-out shows in the home country.

He’s just returned from writing in British coastal towns, Canadian mountains, and cinematic French chalets with single ‘Like That’ which notched up 600,000 streams.

About the sound on new track ‘Hijack’ he says it “was created during a time I was travelling with a friend around Europe, playing festivals and driving through the night quite often.

“In order to stay awake we'd listen to heavy electronic music which got me inspired to start mixing folk music with these new influences.”
