Uncharted: Sheppard, Maroon 5, Calum Scott
Sheppard have delivered another ode to their Australian roots.

#1. Sheppard - ‘Hometown’ (CHUGG/MGM)
Sheppard have delivered a great pop song in ‘Hometown’ - another ode to the band’s Australian roots. With all the staple elements of a classic Sheppard song (gang vocals, upbeat choruses), radio stations will lap this number up. The track is taken from the group’s upcoming album Watching The Sky due out June 8.
#2. Maroon 5 ft. Cardi B - ‘Girls Like You’ (INT/UMA)
With a music video that seems to be getting more attention than the single itself, Maroon 5 are sending ‘Girls Like You’ featuring Cardi B to the airwaves this week. Since first hitting #1 on the TMN Hot 100 in 2005 with ‘She Will Be Loved’, Maroon 5 have earned six chart-toppers. However, the group are in a five-year drought since their last #1 on the chart (‘One More Night’).
#3. Calum Scott - ‘Rhythm Inside’ (CAP/EMI)
In line with his return to Australia this month, Englishman Calum Scott is looking to build on the radio success of ‘Your Are The Reason’ (#31 Hot 100) with ‘Rhythm Inside’, a single worthy of commercial consideration. The track has earned 21 million Spotify streams and counting. Scott's cover of Robyn's 'Dancing On My Own' peaked at #4 on the Hot 100 in 2016.
