Universal Music Australia have notched up a second Most Added title of the year, as Post Malone sneaks past Sydney pop-punk outfit 5 Seconds Of Summer at radio.

It was always going to be a close race between Malone’s ‘Psycho’ and 5SOS’ ‘Want You Back’, with many commercial networks opting to add both singles to their playlists. This included Nova, metro Hit stations/National drive and the ACE Radio Network.

The outliers were KIIS and the Hit Regional Network with both playlisting Malone across the board. A slew of Grant Broadcasters stations also put their weight behind the track, ultimately sealing the victory for Post.

Fifty Shades Freed soundtrack single ‘Capital Letters’ by Hailee Steinfeld & BloodPop enjoyed a solid week of additions that included nods from Ash London LIVE, Nova and Hit Regional. MAX’s sleeper hit ‘Lights Down Low’ also got some attention from the Hit Network with a total of 56 stations adding the track across the country.

Ed Sheeran’s ‘Supermarket Flowers’ rounds out the Top 5 this week, thanks to NOVA’s smoothfm adding the track across the board.

TOP 5 MOST ADDED TO RADIO

1. Post Malone ft. Ty Dolla $ign - ‘Psycho’ (REP/UMA)
