Amy Shark and Jonas Brothers are tied up in a neck-and-neck battle for TMN’s Most Added To Radio.

‘Mess Her Up’ and ‘Sucker’ have earned support from of the majority of Australian commercial radio, including heavy-hitters Nova, Hit and KIIS.

Scott Baker-Smith, Nova's head of music, is one of many who has added both artists to the playlist this week.

"Amy Shark’s 'Mess Her Up' is great. The new mix for radio has enhanced and strengthened the appeal of the song," Baker-Smith tells TMN. "It was always a highlight on the album.

"Amy has cemented herself as a great core artist for Nova and has a fantastic track record that resonates with our audience."

"Jonas Brothers are a pleasant surprise," he adds. "I was not expecting on their return they’d release such a strong track out the gates."

With so little between the two acts, Sony may look to the Triple M network to give Shark an all-important edge.

Continuing to capitalise on regional radio will be key for Universal and Jonas Brothers, with specific emphasis on the Hit Regional Network.

Stay tuned tomorrow for the final result of TMN's Most Added To Radio.
