Kanye West has set a new record on the ARIA Singles Chart following last week's release of his tenth studio album Donda.

As well as claiming his fourth #1 on the ARIA Album Charts, 19 songs from Kanye's latest project have made their debut on the Singles Chart Top 50 for this week, with three tracks from the album ('Hurricane', 'Jail' and 'Off The Grid)' debuting within the top ten.

The feat sees Kanye break both the record for the most debuts in one week (previously set by Taylor Swift with 16 tracks last year) and the record for the most tracks to land in the Top 50 in a single week (previously held by Post Malone and Michael Jackson with 17 each).

Donda also debuted at #1 in the UK and US, with Billboard reporting that the record has achieved the biggest first-week result for any release in 2021 with 309,000 equivalent album units.

Elsewhere on the ARIA Charts, Sydney hip-hop trio Bliss N Eso placed at #2 with their latest record The Sun, while other prominent debuts included Halsey's If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power (#3), Chvrches' Screen Violence (#6) and OneRepublic's Human (#10).

Meanwhile on the Singles Chart, The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber have held on to the top spot for their eighth week running with 'Stay', while PNAU's 'Cold Heart' remix for Elton John & Dua Lipa has risen to sit behind Ed Sheeran's 'Bad Habits' at #3 in its third week on the charts.
