Digital Chart Wrap: Marcus Marr & Chet Faker top Shazam

It’s a very quiet week in the Top 5 of the ARIA Streaming chart with no movement until #5. Justin Bieber’s Sorry maintains his lead ahead of Adele’s Hello and Drake’s Hotline Bling at #2 and #3 respectively. Zara Larsson & MNEK’s Never Forget You makes the first move at #5 from #8. Shawn Mendes makes a small move up to #8 from #10 with Stitches, a new peak, and Justin Bieber earns his third single in the Top 10, I’ll Show You. The other is former #1 What Do You Mean? which remains at #4.

Outside the Top 10, Ariana Grande’s Focus takes a move up to #12 from #17 following its debut last week while Chet Faker & Marcus Marr’s The Trouble With Us moves into the Top 20 at #19 from #25. Sia’s Alive marks the last of any upward movement this week at #28 from #30.

iTunes

It’s a similar story on the iTunes chart with no movement taking place till #5. Adele holds #1 with Hello whilst Justin Bieber’s Sorry and Zara Larsson & MNEK’s Never Forget You trail behind at #2 and #3. Duke Dumont breaks the movement ice at #5 from #7 with Ocean Drive. Marcus Marr & Chet Faker’s The Trouble With Us moves into the Top 10 at #7 while Dawin’s Dessert makes a giant leap into the bracket at #8 from #84.

Justin Bieber’s I’ll Show You makes a move to #17 from #23 whilst Rachel Platten follows at #18 from #34 with Stand By You. Debuting at #27 and #28 is One Direction’s new History and Coldplay’s Adventure Of A Lifetime with Sia’s Bird Set Free moving up just behind at #29 from #70. Two more debuts come in at #46 and #47 with Sam Smith’s Drowning Shadows and One Direction’s End Of The Day respectively.

Shazam

Marcus Marr & Chet Faker move to the top of the Shazam chart this week as The Trouble With Us climbs up from #2. Duke Dumont enjoys a new peak at #3 with Ocean Drive while DJ Snake’s Middle featuring Bipolar Sunshine and Shawn Mendes’ Stitches do the same at #5 from #9 and #6 from #14 respectively.

Justin Bieber’s Love Yourself kicks off the high debut trend this week, entering at #9 while WSTRN’s IN2 debuts at #15.  Tim Omaji sees a sizable jump to #23 from #36 on its second week in the chart with Go To Work, followed by Jack Garratt’s Breathe Life at #28 from #49.

A high debut from Sigala’s Easy Lovin’ comes in at #29 off the back off a few big commercial networks adding the track ahead of its official service while Charlotte Devaney’s Flip It featuring Snoop Dogg debuts at #37.  Major Lazer manages to just make the Top 50 with Be Together featuring Wild Belle moving to #49 from #70, as does Jess Kent’s Get Down at #50 from #67.

Spotify

Justin Bieber moves to the top of the Spotify chart this week with Sorry taking the crown from Adele’s Hello, which now sits at #2. A huge jump to #6 from #24 is seen from Zara Larsson & MNEK’s Never Forget You while Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ Downtown sees similar movement at #7 from #19. Robin Schulz and Justin Bieber also manage to make it into the bottom end of the bracket with Sugar and I’ll Show You moving to #8 from #14 and #9 from #12 respectively.

Dawin’s Dessert makes a giant leap to #13 from #82 while Marcus Marr & Chet Faker’s The Trouble With Us re-enters the chart at #14. Similarly, Duke Dumont’s Ocean Drive re-enters at #19 as does Disclosure’s Magnets featuring Lorde at #21.

Nelly’s The Fix featuring Jeremih makes a giant leap to #24 from #99 this week, easily the most moved track on the chart. Coming pretty darn close however is Nico & Vinz’s That’s How You Know at #36 from #91. Sia’s Alive makes healthy movement at #37 from #72 while Pia Mia’s Do It Again featuring Chris Brown makes the Top 50 at #42 from #73.

Two last notable debuts come in at #33 with Justin Bieber’s Love Yourself and #50 with Zhu’s Working For It.
