Digital Chart Wrap: DJ Snake takes the Shazam chart

Justin Beiber holds the Top 2 of the ARIA Streaming chart this week with Love Yourself and Sorry respectively. He now also holds #3 with What Do You Mean?, as the track moves back up from #4.

Zara Larsson & MNEK hold #5 for another week with Never Forget You, whilst Shawn Mendes takes a new peak with Stitches at #6 from #8.

Also seeing a move up to a new highpoint this week is Rudimental’s Lay It All On Me featuring Ed Sheeran at #9 from #13.

With a rather quiet remainder of the Top 40 the only big events take place at #31 with a new debut from DJ Snake’s Middle and at #36 and #39 with re-entries from Ed Sheeran’s Photograph and Fetty Wap’s 679 featuring Remy Boyz, respectively.

Adele remains at #1 on the iTunes 100 with Hello leading ahead of a stagnant Top 3, which sees Justin Bieber hold #2 and #3 with Love Yourself and Sorry respectively.

Duke Dumont sees even more success with slow burner Ocean Drive at #4 from #8, a new peak on its fifteenth week in the chart. Rudimental move into the Top 10 at #7 from #12 with Lay It On Me featuring Ed Sheeran while Tina Arena, Jessica Mauboy & The Veronicas’ Chains debuts at #9.

Outside the Top 10 DJ Snake moves up into the Top 20 at #14 from #23 with Middle, a new peak. Meanwhile Conrad Sewell just misses out on the bracket as Start Again makes a giant leap to #21 from #78.

X Factor finalists Jess & Matt debut at #26 with new single Nothing Matters, and Charlotte Devaney’s Flip It featuring Snoop Dogg follows close behind at #27 from #43.

Ed Sheeran’s Photograph makes similar gains, returning to the Top 40 at #32 from #71 as hype for his current national tour picks up.

Shazam

DJ Snake finds himself at #1 this week as Middle featuring Bipolar Sunshine hits #1 up from #2, pushing Justin Bieber’s Love Yourself back down to #2.

Rounding off the Top 3 is WSTRN’s IN2 which hits #3 from #5, a new peak. After four weeks in the chart, Charlotte Devaney’s Flip It featuring Snoop Dogg moves into the Top 10 at #6 from #14. Similarly, 99 Souls’ The Girl Is Mine makes the same bracket at #9 from #11.

The Weeknd’s new single In The Night makes it into the Top 20 at #16 from #31 this week, while Alessia Cara’s Here sees a huge amount of movement, no doubt thanks to her almost total addition to commercial radio last week, hitting #24 from #96.

Taking highest debut this week is Zhu’s Working For It, which debuts at #17 while Hilltop Hoods’ Higher makes it in at #31. A re-entry at #41 comes from Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s Higher Place at #41.

The Spotify chart sees a new #1 single this week, though the artist remains the same, as Justin Bieber’s Love Yourself replaces Sorry at #1 from #2 and vice versa. Bieber’s other single What Do You Mean? moves to #4 from #27 while Marcus Marr & Chet Faker’s The Trouble With Us moves up to #9 from #12 followed by The Weeknd’s In The Night hits #10 from #11, marking the last new entry into the Top 10.

Yet again Rudimental sees success on the digital charts, with Lay It All On Me featuring Ed Sheeran taking a new peak at #11 from #16.

Duke Dumont’s Ocean Drive breaks into the Top 15 at #15 from #22, while The Weeknd’s The Hills makes for what is the most moved track this week, hitting #18 from #74.

DJ Snake hits #31 from #53 with Middle featuring Bipolar Sunshine, marking the last notable mover, though WSTRN do enjoy a reasonably high debut at #57 with IN2.
