TMN Hot 100 This week we witnessed the inevitable fall of Sheppard’s Geronimo from the #1 spot. Replacing them is Justice Crew and their single Que Sera. This has been a long time coming with Geronimo dropping spots on the ARIA Singles chart for weeks now whilst Que Sera has been at the top of the ARIA Singles chart for four weeks since debuting at #1. There has been little movement in the rest of the top 10 except for Milky Chance and Sam Smith placing in the bottom two positions of #9 and #10 respectively. There are plenty of big movers this week with big leaps seen from many songs picking up a strong week of commercial airplay. Rixton’s Me & My Broken Heart  jumps from #54 to #37, DJ Cassidy’s song Calling All Hearts featuring Robin Thicke & Jessie J moves 53 places from #94 to #41 and Beyonce’s Pretty Hurts is up 49 places from #75 to #26. The most notable movement this week came from Hedley and their single Crazy For You which jumped a grand total of 61 positions from #100 to #39. A few tracks have debuted this week following a strong week of airplay. Somebody To You by The Vamps featuring Demi Lovato has entered at #78. Meanwhile Nicki Minaj’s song Pills N Potions debuts at #85 after an incredibly strong first week at radio, also snapping up the title of most-added song to radio last week. Some rather odd movement has been seen in the bottom 50 this week as Robin Thicke’s smash hit single Blurred Lines jumps from #88 to #73. We thought we had seen the last of this song, but it seems that commercial radio is a bit reluctant to let go.   ARIA Singles Justice Crew hold the #1 spot on the ARIA Singles Chart for a fourth week in a row. After reaching #1 on both the ARIA Singles chart as well as the TMN Hot 100, it will be interesting to see if Que Sera can maintain sufficient air play and sales to hold the top spots for the next few weeks. Milky Chance’s Stolen Dance is at #2 for a second week in a row after achieving certified Gold. Sia’s Chandelier has moved back up to #4 on the ARIA Singles chart this week after achieving double platinum, it also moved back up to #4 on the TMN Hot 100 after a good week of airplay. In terms of movement we can see Ed Sheeran’s single Sing rising to a new high point of #11 just reaching certified Platinum. Dami Im has risen to #16 after appearing on Channel 7’s ’Sunday Night’ program performing her single Super Love. Tiesto’s single Wasted featuring Matthew Koma has re-entered the chart at #48 after dropping out last week.   ARIA Albums Coldplay’s Ghost Stories enjoys its second week at #1. In it’s first week of release it managed to achieve a Platinum certification and it is now the second Coldplay album to spend two weeks at #1, the first being Viva La Vida which spent four weeks at #1. Let’s see if Ghost Stories can top that. Two artists break into the top 10 this week. AM by the Arctic Monkeys moves from #11 to #9, still no doubt feeding off the success of their recent tour in Australia. Iggy Azalea’s The New Classic moves from #12 to #7. The album features the hit single Fancy which is currently #6 on the ARIA Singles Chart and #12 on the TMN Hot 100. At #2 we can see the highest new entry on the ARIA Albums Chart this week, Sam Smith’s In The Lonely Hour. The album features the top 10 single Stay With Me (#9 on ARIA Singles #10 on TMN Hot 100). The second highest debut this week is Mariah Carey’s 12th studio album Me, I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse. The album is her first new work in almost five years and is her 13th top 10 appearance in six years.
