ARIA Singles

The Chainsmokers are expected to continue the trend of unusually high debuts next week with Closer ft. Halsey on track for a Top 3 debut, though it’s too hard to tell whether or not they can overthrow Major Lazer’s Cold Water ft. Justin Bieber & MO. There have been new #1 debuts on the Singles chart for the past two weeks. First with Katy Perry’s Rise followed by the previously mentioned Major Lazer track.

Usher will take the Top 10 with Crash next week up from #17; followed by Jonas Blue’s Perfect Strangers hitting the Top 20 from its debut point of #42.

ARIA Albums

Gang Of Youths are about to set a new career peak with Let Me Be Clear, which is on track to dethrone Human Nature and beat their previous high point of #5 with debut album The Positions. Sydney hardcore genre benders Hellions will also see a new peak the debut of their album Opera Oblivia, somewhere in the Top 5. Their previous peak was #19 with Hellions Present Indian Summer and marks yet another success for the UNFD label. Alfie Arcuri’s Zenith is also looking for a Top 5 entry.

DJ Khaled’s long awaited and long hyped new album Major Key is set to debut in the Top 10. It’s the follow up to 2015’s I Changed A Lot and will be his first ever ARIA Albums appearance.

Billy Talent will debut in the Top 20 with Afraid Of Heights followed by Descendents’ Hypercaffium Spazzinate will enter in the Top 30.
