ARIA Singles

Katy Perry debuted at #1 on the ARIA Singles chart last week, though holding the spot for a second week in a row is looking very unlikely. The most obvious obstacle is Major Lazer’s new single Cold Water ft. Justin Bieber & MØ. The huge new single is on track to debut in the Top 3, though it’s competing with Perry’s new track as well as Illy’s Papercuts ft. Vera Blue, which is set to enter the Top 3 from #8, riding high on the success of his recent Splendour In The Grass performance.

Ariana Grande’s slow burner Into You is on track to crack the Top 10 from #18 and could beat its previous best of #11.

MØ will see more success with Final Song, set to hit the Top 30 from #35.

ARIA Albums

Human Nature could add to their list of #1s next week with Gimme Some Lovin’ (Jukebox Vol. II) aiming for a Top 3 debut.

Flume’s Skin could stop that however with the former #1 also on track to move into the bracket following a headlining set at Splendour In The Grass.

Periphery will debut in the Top 10 with Periphery III: Select Difficulty and are the last notable high entry.
