ARIA Midweek Chart Predictions - May 20

The ARIA Singles chart will see some new debuts enter within the lower end of the Top 50 next week with Pitch Perfect’s The Barden Bellas entering in the lower spectrum with World Championship Finale 2. Also entering in the lower bracket will be Taylor Swift with Bad Blood and A$AP Rocky’s Everyday featuring Rod Stewart, Miguel and Mark Ronson. In regards to movement, Jessie J’s track for Pitch Perfect 2, Flashlight is set to break the Top 10 up from its #15 debut point, as well as Rachel Platten’s Fight Song. Deorro & Chris Brown’s Five More Hours will make the Top 15 as will Sia’s Big Girls Cry.

The ARIA Albums chart will have two contenders for a possible #1 debut next week with Hermitude’s Dark Night Sweet Light and Faith No More’s Sol Invictus both set to enter in the Top 3. The question will be whether or not either will have strong enough sales to out do Ed Sheeran’s X. Twenty One Pilots’ Blurryface is on track for a Top 10 debut while Brandon Flowers’ The Desired Effect is likely to debut in the Top 15. King Parrot’s Dead Set can expect a Top 20 entry.
