ARIA Midweek Chart Predictions - August 12 | Dr. Dre vs The Rubens

ARIA Singles

The ARIA Singles Chart may have a new #1 next week if Delta Goodrem’s Wings can outsell One Direction’s recent #1 debuting single Drag Me Down. Little Mix’s Black Magic is set to enter the top 15 while Nico & Vinz’s latest cut That’s How You Know will break into the Top 20. There are no #1 debuts to look out for, at least in the singles chart with the highest new entry set to be Demi Lovato’s Cool For The Summer, which is likely to enter in the Top 30. Meg Mac will follow in the Top 40 while R. City’s Locked Away featuring Adam Levine will look to the Top 40 as well.

ARIA Albums

The Albums chart has two artists vying for the #1 debut with Dr. Dre leading the chart at the moment with Compton. Set to challenge him are The Rubens with sophomore album Hoops, all set to enter the Top 3. Luke Bryan’s Kill The Lights will look for a Top 5 debut next week while Greta Bradman’s My Hero and Fear Factory’s Genexus are set to debut in the Top 10. Sydney’s Buried In Verona are going to round off the last of the high debuts with an expected Top 20 entry with Vultures Above, Lions Below, the band’s hyped fourth album.
