ARIA Chart Predictions: Trophy Eyes have the Top 5 in their sights
The Newcastle outfit will go head-to-head with rapper Travis Scott for the top debut of the week.
Newcastle punk-rock outfit Trophy Eyes are pushing for a Top 5 debut on the ARIA Albums Chart this week with third studio album The American Dream. Previous album Chemical Miracle debuted at #8 in 2016.
US rapper Travis Scott will attempt to better Trophy Eyes this week with his acclaimed new album Astroworld. Streams will definitely play a big part in Saturday’s result, with Scott currently on track for the Top 3.
Meanwhile, a trio of cuts from Scott's album are destined to make simultaneous debuts on the Singles Chart (Sicko Mode, Stargazing, Butterfly Effect).
Diesel’s (aka Johnny Diesel) new compilation album 30: The Greatest Hits sports 14 Top 40 hits. Unsurprisingly, fans of the legendary Aussie artists are flocking to the album with a Top 10 debut looking likely.
It will be Diesel’s best performing album in Australia since back-to-back #1s Hepfidelity and The Lobbyist in the early '90s.
