Thundamentals

Thundamentals' latest album album I Love Songs is on track for a Top 10 debut on this week’s ARIA Albums Chart. The Blue Mountains trio have debuted in the Top 3 with their previous two albums (So We Can Remember #3, Everyone We Know #2).

They’ll face competition from uncharted US group Brockhampton. Iridescence sits in the Top 3 at the halfway stage of the week, but will be hard pressed to go all the way with the likes of Drake and Eminem still garnering strong sales.

Slash, on the other hand, has a proven record in Australia - both as a solo artist and with Gun N’ Roses - and will also vye for the Top 3 with new album Living The Dream.

Brisbane band Dead Letter Circus have released their eponymous album which is likely to land in the Top 10, according to mid week data. The Aussies have peaked on the chart at #2 on three occasions (Aesthesis, The Catalyst Fire, This Is The Warning).

In light of her upcoming Australia tour, Taylor Swift is edging up the Albums Chart to the Top 20 with her latest release Reputation.
