Adele continues to break records, with her just-released fourth album 30 earning the highest selling first week for any album in Australia since 2017.

Her first album since 2015's 2530 debuted atop the ARIA Albums Chart with lead single 'Easy On Me' simultaneously topping the ARIA Singles Chart.

Nine other songs from 30 also debuted in the singles chart, with 'Oh My God' and 'Can I Get It' both cracking the Top 10.

Australian listeners have also been busy revisiting Adele's back catalogue, with all of her previous albums – 1921 and 25 – appearing in the Top 30 of the ARIA Albums Chart.

Upon the release of 'Easy On Me', Adele smashed the record for most streams in a single day on Spotify, with the ballad earning 19.75 million streams globally.

The remainder of the top end of this week's albums chart is filled out with Paul Kelly's Christmas Train debuting at #2, Taylor Swift's re-release of Red sinking to #3, Ed Sheeran's = at #4 and ABBA's first album in 40 years, Voyage, at #5.

Below 'Easy On Me' on the singles chart lies the 10-minute version of Taylor Swift's 'All Too Well' at #2, PNAU's remix of Elton John and Dua Lipa's 'Cold Heart' at #3, The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber's ARIA-winning collaboration 'Stay' at #4 and Sheeran's 'Shivers' at #5.
