The Melbourne-based singer and songwriter joins a UAM roster that includes Dan Sultan, Jack River, Vance Joy, Ocean Alley and others.

Those sharing in $25,000 are Bush Music Fund, Neurodivergent Artist Meet Ups from Nat Bartsch, Solar Sessions, Music in Exile and RELEASR.

Since launching in 2016, the Grant has received more than 600 applications. This year, five creative projects will receive $5,000 in funding.

Announcing the first close of $15 million, the fund focuses on seed-stage investments, backing founders at the dawn of building a company. 

The Melbourne-based group is also the only music specialist on a list that’s stacked with tech, cosmetics, food and more.

Sound Story is formed around a team of storytellers -- led by Jake Challenor, GM Brian Lawlor, along with its first hire Zanda Wilson.

“Moving forward with such a strong team at a time when I’m making my best work," he says, "is very exciting.”

UNIFIED Music Group, Untitled Group and Music Health are among the organisations showing solidary to the “change the date” movement.
