Sounds Australia will showcase 25 local acts at AmericanaFest in Nashville and Reeperbahn in Hamburg, for the first time since 2019.

Music export body Sounds Australia is returning to the U.K. for a series of showcases and an Aussie BBQ.

The Aussie BBQ will feature performances from Baker Boy, Electric Fields, G Flip, Haiku Hands, Peking Duk and You Am I. 

Hiatus Kaiyote, Budjerah, and Native Tongue are among the Round 2 recipients.

$408,936.28 will be shared by artists, producers, songwriters, composers, managers and crew.

The Sounds Australia Export Stimulus Program will deliver $1.2 million across 18 months to assist Australian artists return to the international touring circuit.

Fanny Lumsden said that participating in Global Music Match was a "career highlight experience without a doubt". 

DZ Deathrays, Stand Atlantic and Waxflower will feature in the Twitch stream showcase.

Six Australian producers have been selected to participate in the program.
