The program was created to quickly fund artists if a career opportunity suddenly came up.

Here are the 25 projects sharing in $500,000 worth of new funding from the Victorian government’s $22.2 million Music Works initiative.

In 2017/18, over 11,000 child employment permits were issued, up from 10,000 in 2016/17 – of which 17% were for children working in live performance.

Funding jobs ranging from the installation of acoustic panelling, state of the art insulation, to engaging a specialist acoustic assessor.

A number of the grants have gone towards getting artists to this year's BIGSOUND conference.

Music Passport joins other CHANGES initiatives to discover the international market.
