Vanessa Amorosi and Toni Watson (aka Tones And I), industry advocate Emily Collins, and veteran music journalist Jane Gazzo won at the AWMAs.

“Elsy in recent years has become one of South Australia’s biggest musical exports,” remarks MusicSA CEO Christine Schloithe.

The AWMAs will shift from October to May, marking the second year in a row that the awards have been forced to postpone. 

"I, like so many of our community, have been struggling and looking for answers," Jane Gazzo said.

Jane Gazzo will also replace her former Recovery co-host Dylan Lewis as the MC of the event.

DMA'S, Thelma Plum and Middle Kids have also been announced.

The Sound will celebrate the launch of NAIDOC Week this Sunday.

'The Sound' returns to ABC TV on November 1.

'Recovery: The Music and The Mayhem' will look back at the seminal Aussie TV series.

Their makeshift studio is a repurposed old caravan recovered from the scrapyard.
