Sync Watch: LDRU soundtracks Sydney FC x Under Armour kit launch

A-League Champions Sydney FC launched their new kit deal with Under Armour, bringing on board produce LDRU to create an original song for the launch video.

BMG worked directly with Under Armour to find the right artist, and once locked in, LDRU crafted the perfect tine 'I Can Feel It'.

It was released alongside the kit launch on July 25, in a video featuring iconic Sydney landmarks and Sydney FC players.

"I was very excited when BMG offered me to opportunity to work with Under Armour for their sponsorship of Sydney FC," LDRU aka Drew Carmody tells TMN.

"I’ve always loved their brand and what they do, as well as being a Sydney local, so making a trademark LDRU song that would resonate with the Under Armour/Sydney FC community was an awesome challenge.

"'I Can Feel It' is a high energy happy banger and I tried to make something that would truly hype me up before a football match, and would also sound real nice in my festival sets, which is a plus."
