Rapper Snoop Dogg has teamed up with Menulog once more for a remix of the delivery service's 'Did Somebody Say' jingle.

The new ad features backing verses from rugby players Greg Inglis, Craig Wing, Ben Hunt and the Trbojevic brothers, and has been released to coincide with the State of Origin.

"I love food and football - getting my eat on at the Dogg house when watching the game with some BBQ wings. But when Menulog asked me to do a new verse, and they’re telling me about meat pies? Who eats dogs and pies to watch the game? That’s whack," the rapper said in a statement.

Menulog's marketing director Simon Cheng added, "Just like the Blues and Maroons, we wanted to bring our best game - and what better teammate to have than Menulog brand ambassador Snoop Dogg. We can’t wait for his updated track to be the song of the series, and to fuel-hungry fans across the country."

Snoop Dogg had previously worked with Menulog in June, taking part in a jingle for the company's 'Dogg’s Diner' campaign. Customers were able to order meals featured in Snoop Dogg's 2018 cookbook, From Crook to Cook, as well as a menu of classic American food approved by the rapper.

Earlier this year, Snoop Dogg also partnered with Aussie winemakers 19 Crimes for the brand's first US release.
