Sync Watch: Sydney design house uses Kanye West in Kia ad
Heckler was behind the new Kia Sorento ad.

Kanye West's 2010 track 'Dark Fantasy' has been licensed for a Kia commercial by Sydney studio Heckler.
It's the first time the song has been licensed for commercial use, with the campaign advertising the luxurious feel and key features of the Kia Sorrento.
Heckler is an award-winning visual effects and post-production studio based in Sydney, specialising in design, animation and effects.
The campaign is made up of a 30 second brand film and two 15-second spots, and is one of several that Heckler has worked on for the car band.
“We’ve worked on a number of commercials for Kia over the years, but this one is right up there with the best when it comes to technical capability," Heckler co-founder and executive producer Will Alexander said.
“The team have done an amazing job creating the entirely computer generated commercials which hit the luxury and attitude brief perfectly. Overlaid with Kanye’s Dark Fantasy track and the results are outstanding.”
Innocean Australia agency also worked on the commercial, bringing together Speak E Clean's Simon Lister for sound design and Trailer Media's Anton Trailer for music supervision.
