Channel 10 revives Young Talent Time with 50th anniversary special featuring Tina Arena & Dannii Minogue

Channel 10 will air an anniversary special of Young Talent Time on Sunday to mark the show's 50th anniversary.

The special edition will be hosted by Toni Pearen, and will feature a reunion between former host Johnny Young and some of the show's biggest stars, including Tina Arena and Dannii Minogue.

Channel 10 said the show, dubbed Young Talent Time Unmasked, will relive "all the giddy highs, the backstage drama and heartbreak, and celebrate the moments that turned its young stars into household names".

The network said it's hard to believe it's been 50 years since Young Talent Time first burst onto screens and earned its place in pop culture history.

"Loved by generations of fans young and old, the hit shoe ran for an astonishing 18 years and over 800 episodes," publicity said. "It's the show we fell in love with."

Young Talent Time Unmasked will air at 8:30pm on Sunday, September 26, after The Masked Singer.
