triple j's Veronica Milsom announces departure from the station
The long time host of triple j's Drive program has announced she will be leaving the broadcaster this month, as she prepares for her second child.

The popular Drive presenter becomes the latest long-standing member of the triple j family to announce their departure.
Veronica Milsom has announced - typical humour firmly in check - that this month will be her last at the national youth broadcaster. The longtime Drive host made her announcement on socials, revealing that with her second baby on the way, her maternity leave this time round is a bit more permanent.
"When I have my baby, I'm actually not going to be coming back to work at triple j," she said in the video. "[Which] was a really tough decision to make because I really love working here."
The video, which shows co-host Lewis Hobba reacting behind the ABC's 'soundproof glass', made for the perfect reveal. The two have been on the airwaves with one another since 2014.
Milsom becomes the sixth presenter at triple j to move on from the station, following Ben and Liam's move to Nova Adelaide, as well as the departures of Tom Tilley, Linda Marigliano and Gen Fricker at the end of 2019.
Lewis' new co-host has not been announced yet - details on Milsom's replacement are expected to be made public soon.
