Local independent music company Unified has launched its own touring company in partnership with the world’s biggest concert promoter, Live Nation.

The joint venture, Unify Presents, last week announced its first co-presented tour for Bring Me The Horizon. The Sheffield band head to Australia in September for an arena tour. The quintet were set to exclusively headline this year’s Soundwave before the festival and its touring company Soundwave Touring were shuttered.

Naturally, Unified’s founder and CEO Jaddan Comerford along with its Head of Recorded Music Luke Logemann saw a gap in the market following Soundwave’s demise, but the company already has a glowing tour track record. It’s sold out tour dates from its artists Vance Joy, The Amity Affliction, Violent Soho, Northlane, In Hearts Wake and Illy, along with its two sold out Unify Gatherings in 2015 and 2016, are just a few examples.

Live Nation’s VP of promotions Roger Field recently hired promoter Nigel Melder, who will also be working on the joint venture.

Logemann, who is also the Booker and Promoter for Unify Gathering, has added another feather to his cap as the new head of touring strategy for Unified’s new division.

Speaking to TMN he said: “Our strategy is pretty simple - we just want to do good business with good artists, agents and managers.”
