Two dance parties on boats on Sydney Harbour were raided on Saturday 11 am to 2 pm, which led to ten clubbers being charged with drugs offences.

According to NSW Police,  it was a combined operation by NSW Marine Area Command, Alcohol Licensing Enforcement Command, Sydney Water Police, Broken Bay Water Police, Botany Bay Water Police and the Sydney City Local Area Command.

Officers searched 41 people on two charter boats at Casino Wharf and King Street Wharf.

Ten people were charged with 15 drug offences. One man was allegedly caught with 53 tablets thought to be ecstasy and charged with supplying a prohibited drug.

"These types of intelligence-based operations will continue and we want to remind the public that law enforcement does not stop at the water’s edge," Marine Area Command Superintendent Mark Hutchings warned. "You are still responsible for your behaviour on the waterways."
