triple j announces guests for this weekend’s One Night Stand
Ten new names join the previously announced Vance Joy, Peking Duk, Tkay Maidza, Middle Kids, Alex the Astronaut and The Sleepyheads.

In the run-up to this Saturday’s triple j One Night Stand, ten “guests” have been added to the bill.
They are Alister Wright from Cloud Control, Arno Faraji, Ben Woolner from SAFIA, Carmouflage Rose, Brisbane rapper Jesswar, Julia Jacklin, triple j Unearthed winner Kwame, Ruby Fields, Sam Cromack from Ball Park Music and Tyler Richardson from Luca Brasi.
They join the previously announced Vance Joy, Peking Duk, Tkay Maidza, Middle Kids, Alex the Astronaut and The Sleepyheads.
The free all-ages concert is in the regional seaside town of St Helens in Tasmania.
Between 12,000 to 15,000 are expected to attend.
Local businesses have agreed to stay open late on Friday, and all day on Saturday and Sunday.
Traders have set up a busking competition, while volunteers have set up social media pages and shot videos of the town’s highlights and encouraged attendees to visit nearby areas.

The broadcast starts at midday on triple j, with ABC TV and iview: from 9:30pm on Sunday September 2.
