A new documentary will follow 10 of the country's most exciting up-and-coming dancers.
Following the hit docuseries Dance Life, the upcoming doco Dance for Your Life will follow Australian dancers as they compete for a coveted spot with an international dance company.
Dance for Your Life features some of the country's best dancers, including America's Got Talent contestant Max Ostler and breakout stars from the hit show Emily Smith and Conor Bann-Murray.
"An intimate portrait into the highly competitive world of the commercial back-up dancer — where chances are few, and even your best friends are your competition," the official synopsis reads.
"Brent Street, Australia’s leading commercial dance schools, is offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to send ten of its best dancers, past and present, to London to audition for international dance company, Shapehaus Dance Theatre, led by renowned dancer and choreographer, Dean Lee. Who will make the cut?"
Dance for Your Life arrives in cinemas nationwide on Thursday, April 2nd.

Dean Lee's career spans an extraordinary roster of global icons, having worked with Janet Jackson, Kylie Minogue,The Pussycat Dolls, Eve, Chaka Khan, Shania Twain, The Jacksons, Leona Lewis and many more.
"It’s experience that sets the bar impossibly high for the dancers chasing his approval," a press release reads.
"Under the uncompromising mentorship of Dean Lee, these aspiring dancers from Australia’s leading performing arts studio, Brent Street, are pushed to their limits physically, emotionally, and creatively as they discover what it truly takes to turn their passion into a professional career."
Dance for Your Life is helmed by the award-winning documentary filmmaker Luke Cornish, and his film "lays bare the emotional and physical toll of chasing a dream through intimate confessions, make or break rehearsals, and breathtaking performances."
Dance for Your Life is a Perpetual Entertainment, Biscuit Tin and Creative Bubble production. Principal production funding came from Screen Australia, in association with Screen NSW. The film was financed with support from Perpetual Entertainment. Local distribution is being handled by Mushroom Studios, with international sales by Perpetual Entertainment.
