The Timber Yard has been given a major $3 million transformation.

Victoria's iconic warehouse venue has been reimagined with state-of-the-art AV, full climate control, as well as a sleek new blackout aesthetic and expanded amenities.

According to a press release, The Timber Yard is now "bigger, bolder, and more versatile than ever," becoming a space "built to host everything from high-octane automotive launches to world-class music premium expos, markets, and unforgettable corporate galas and showcases."

Housed in an expansive industrial warehouse, The Timber Yard "blends authentic Melbourne grit with a sleek new blackout aesthetic and architectural lighting, transforming seamlessly from edgy to elegant to suit any brief."

The size of the warehouse space allows for grand-scale activations without losing intimacy, "with motorised retractable draping and configurable layouts that can scale to any event size."

Thanks to a $1.5 million AV upgrade, The Timber Yard now boasts one of the most advanced in-house production set-ups in Victoria, including over 100 moving spot and wash fixtures, a 9m x 3m high-resolution adjustable LED screen, D&B Audiotechnik distributed audio, and plug-and-play technical infrastructure.

Unusual for warehouse venues, The Timber Yard now offers full climate control for year-round comfort, with its "unique mix of indoor and outdoor spaces ensures flexibility even in Melbourne's unpredictable weather."

The Timber Yard's owner/director Adam McKenzie says "[w]e are constantly striving to improve every aspect of the venue so that our clients and their guests have impactful and unique experiences, whether they are coming to the venue for the first or 10th time."

Over the past year, The Timber Yard has hosted myriad memorable moments, including Ferrari and Lamborghini launches; Porsche's 70th anniversary; the Wine & Cheese Festival' and more than 30 I've music events including the legendary Ministry of Sound. The warehouse venue has also hosted product launches for iconic brands such as Chemist Warehouse and Mecca.
