The Push launches record label, Push Records
The new initiative is currently looking for aspiring industry professionals and recording artists to join the team.

Youth music organisation The Push has launched a new label, Push Records, designed to release new music created by young people.
Created in partnership with the Australian Independent Record Labels Association, the six-month program provides both aspiring industry professionals and recording artists with a space to gain experience. The program is also supported by Creative Victoria.
Applications are now open to join the team, which will see 30 young Victorians take on leadership roles within the label, in areas like media, sound production, management and branding.
Team members will be mentored by industry professionals online, in addition to supporting five young label signees through the recording and release of new music.
Applications for the label team close on January 10.
Five selected label signees will gain hands-on experience and grow their networks in the industry while being mentored by professionals and other artists, engineers and producers.
Artist applications for Push Records open on January 4 and close a month later on February 7.
