The Orchard names David Hume manager of artist services in Australia
Hume was previously at Martin Novosel’s Boundary Sounds, joining in 2013, and working with acts such as Nicole Millar, Sparkadia, Purple Sneakers DJs, Antony & Cleopatra and more.
Based in Sydney, he will work on A&R and artist campaigns and reports to new GM Blake Rayner, who was appointed in June.
Hume was previously at Martin Novosel’s Boundary Sounds, joining in 2013, and working with acts such as Nicole Millar, Sparkadia, Purple Sneakers DJs, Antony & Cleopatra, Clubfeet, Alexander Burnett, Moonbase, Hazlett and Oliver Tank.
The one-time musician got into artist management helping a friend’s band out with scoring gigs, and eventually made it a full-time gig.
