The Kid LAROI’s new year is starting in the best possible way with best-ever chart positions in multiple territories.

The 17-year-old rapper is poised to land his first Top 10 on the Official U.K. Singles Chart as ‘Without You’ flies 52-9 on the midweek chart.

In its seven weeks on the survey, ‘Without You’ has a peak (and career best) of No. 23. That’ll be smashed when the weekly survey is published late Friday (8th January).

The Sydney-born, L.A.-based newcomer has already impacted the chart with five titles, two of which were collaborations with the late hip-hop star Juice WRLD (‘Go’ and ‘Reminds Me of You’).

LAROI’s debut mixtape F*ck Love is also on the climb, rising 35-22 on last week’s Official U.K. Albums Chart, and improving to No. 15 on the midweek tally, just four places below its peak position.

There’s a lot of love for the Kid in his homeland, where ‘Without You’ currently sits at No. 2 on the ARIA Singles Chart, an all-time high.

It’s one of the teen’s two tracks in this week’s Top Ten, with ‘So Done’ lifting 11-10, while the deluxe edition of F**k Love (Savage) leaps 15-6 on the national albums chart, three places below its peak position.

F*ck Love is enjoying a boost from a cinematic new clip for album track ‘TRAGIC,’ which dropped in the days before Christmas, and the official release of ‘Reminds Me of You’ on the one-year anniversary of Juice WRLD’s death.

The Kid came of age in 2020, with a Top 10 album on the Billboard 200 (F*ck Love opened at No. 8), three ARIA Award nominations and, in October, became Spotify’s third U.S. RADAR artist, the streaming brand’s spotlight program for emerging acts.
