After a lengthy “long service leave”, The Cat Empire are blasting back on the road with 13 shows.

The shows will preview some of the results of their recent two-month stint in the recording studio.

They will be accompanied by The Empire Horns and for their theatre/club shows by emerging Sydney based singer-songwriter Odette who made a splash last year with her debut single ‘Watch Me Read You’.

The track notched up almost 4 million Spotify streams and 400,000 views on YouTube for the 20-year old, and ranked #56 on triple j’s Hottest 100 list in January

The Cat Empire’s mix of jazz, Latin, ska, funk, indie and rock have made them one of Australia’s biggest live drawcards, “selling more tickets annually than any other Australian band” and total global album sales of 2.5 million.
