Sydney’s The Record Crate closing this weekend
The Glebe location has been operating as a combination bar, live venue and vintage record store for the last six years.

Sydney’s The Record Crate has announced it is closing up this weekend after six years.
Situated in the heart of Glebe, it was the combination of a bar, live venue and vintage record store that sold “rock'n’roll food to match.”
Their Facebook post stated: "To all the brilliant bands, soloists, poets, story tellers, DJ's, punks, rockers, metal heads, international artists, regulars, visitors, dog lovers, chefs, wait / bar staff, friends, and family, we have had the most amazing adventure and we hope you have too.
"Sydney culture has changed so dramatically over the past 2 or 3 years and we simply could not keep up.
“We urge everyone to go to gigs, pay the door fee, support your muso friends, buy a drink (even a soft drink) and respect venues that are trying, desperately, to stay open and support our musicians.
“Please KEEP SYDNEY OPEN."
