The Sydney episode of the national Reclink Community Cup is held this Sunday, August 19.

The Western Walers (musos) and the Sydney Sailors (media) will go head to head at Henson Park, Marrickville.

The AFL game raises funds to help Reclink Australia provide sporting and art opportunities for disadvantaged Australians.

The 2018 game in Melbourne, where it started in 1998, drew 10,000 and raised $170,000.

The Sydney game began in 2012. Aside from the game itself, there are also auxiliary fund raising events.

In the lead up to the game, Young Henry’s offer a cut from every Young Henry’s drink purchased at various events held at The Golden Barley Hotel in Enmore.

These events include a karaoke night, a trivia night, band nights as well as a comedy night.
