It's shaping up to be another big week on the airwaves, with huge names like Skegss, 88rising, CHVRCHES, and much more leading the triple j playlist additions.

Following a few weeks of local records, this week's feature album spot is a rather interesting release, with the latest collaborative release from 88rising receiving the coveted honour.

A follow-up to 2018's initial release, the second volume of Head In The Clouds sees 88rising labelmates like Rich Brian, Joji and Higher Brothers coming together to curate a breathtaking collection of stunning tracks.

Described by triple j as "a melting pot of R&B, disco, and a pinch of forward-thinking pop", Head In The Clouds II serves as one of those records that will leave you wanting so much more, and will have you hoping that you won't need to wait another year for volume three.

Elsewhere on the airwaves, triple j listeners are set to receive a massive mix of local and international talent, with tunes from the likes of Aitch, CHVRCHES, and Overcoats keeping our Aussie artists in fine company.

Meanwhile,  legends like Jack River, Kira Puru, Mickey Kojak, and Genesis Owusu will provide new favourites like 'Later Flight' and 'Why Don't We Get Along', while Skegss dish out the mid-week anthems with 'Save It For The Weekend'.

It doesn't end there though, with spots going to the likes of Ngaiire, Last Dinosaurs, and Travis Scott, whose 'HIGHEST IN THE ROOM' is serving as one of his finest tracks to date.
