Rock names among 75 nominees for Adelaide’s walk of fame
Nick Cave, Carole King, Eric Clapton and more are all in with a chance.

Bridget Everett, David Attenborough, Eddie Perfect, Michael Griffiths, Miriam Margolyes and Thelma Plum are among the 75 nominees for the walk of fame at Adelaide Festival Centre.
The successful nominees will join actors, dancers, playwrights, comedians, singers, directors, designers and choreographers who have performed on the stage of, or worked behind the scenes, at the venue since 1974.
“This year’s Walk of Fame nominees represent the calibre and diversity of artists and creatives who performed here last year and we’re really looking forward to seeing who the public selects from this impressive shortlist," Adelaide Festival Centre CEO & Artistic Director, Douglas Gautier said.
"The Walk of Fame connects our venues along the new northern promenade and celebrates Adelaide Festival Centre’s 45 year history and the artists who have helped make this place a terrific creative hub.”
The public will now vote on who should be honoured, along with a panel of critics and the Adelaide Festival Centre Trust.
