Former triple j Music Director Richard Kingsmill; DJ, producer and NLV Records owner Nina Las Vegas; Vinyl Group CEO Josh Simons; and Goldenvoice's Rene Contreras, curator of the Sonora Tent at Coachella, are among the industry heavyweights confirmed to speak at BIGSOUND 2025

The daytime schedule is completed with the addition today of Andy Clayton, Creation Collective’s Head of Talent & Touring for events and festivals throughout Asia and Australia; Laneway’s recently-promoted Festival Director Jessie Parker; Nat Waller, Head of ABC Music, ARIA Chair and CMA board member, and others.

They join the likes of previously-announced speakers including Cindy James (general manager at Virgin Music Group), Blur’s Dave Rowntree, and high-flying British label executive Darcus Beese.

BIGSOUND 2025 runs September 2–5 in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley.

The ABC's triple j youth network will celebrate 50 years on-air with a dedicated BIGSOUND session examining pathways for discovery and exporting Australian music.

More than 120 artists will perform for this year’s BIGSOUND evening program, including Brisbane’s indie-pop singer Hatchie, soulful vocalist George Alice from South Australia, Perth punk band Heyzuko!, and Queensland’s rising star Jet Walker.
