PNAU Luminous

On the eve of their return to Australia for summer shows, PNAU have released a short film titled Luminous.

Directed and edited by Robert Crispe and produced by Alan Parks, it’s a behind-the-scenes look at their 2018 Changa Tour, culminating at their stunning set at Splendour In The Grass in July.

Backstage at Splendour, just before walking on stage, Nick Littlemore reflects on the PNAU live experience.

“You look out there and you see a sea of people, none of which I’ve ever met, none of which I’ll ever know, I won’t fall in love with any of them, they won’t break my heart.

“Next year they’ll all be replaced by another group of people – yes, some of them will be older and they’ll be here next year.

“But the point is, it’s all kind of meaningless unless you can leave some kind of lasting legacy, some kind of love, some kind of mystery that people are still going to be interested in trying to learn about, trying to grasp a hold of, what the fuck are we doing?

“What is the point of any of it?”

Luminous follows Littlemore, Peter Mayes and Sam Littlemore, alongside PNAU vocalist Kira Divine and drummer Tim Commandeur throughout the country as they deliver multi-platinum hits 'Chameleon' and 'Go Bang' plus all-time fan favourites like 'Wild Strawberries' and 'Baby'.

Last month PNAU made ARIA history when they won Best Dance Release for the third time.

In 2000, they won the award for their breakthrough debut album Sambanova, in 2017 for their triple-platinum hit 'Chameleon' and this year for 'Go Bang'.

Yesterday PNAU were announced as the headline act for the 2019 Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras party on March 2.
