Pitbull and Ke$ha have cancelled their 2013 Australian tour.

The pair, along with Australia’s own Justice Crew, were due to play shows in all capital cities, starting later this month. However today Dainty Group announced the cancellation of the entire tour.

"Dainty Group regret to advise the cancellation of the 2013 Pitbull and Ke$ha Australian tour," reads the promoter’s statement. "Both artists hope to return to Australia in the not too distant future."

Pitbull took to twitter earlier today to spread the news to fans.

“The promoter is cancelling the Australian Tour, refunds will be available at point of purchase. We hope to return to Australia soon. Thanks.”

The tour was to kick off in Brisbane on October 30. No further details as to the reason for the cancellation have been released.

Anyone who bought tickets via credit card will be automatically refunded. Those who bought tickets with cash or eftpos will need to post their tickets back to Ticketek for a full refund. Further information can be found here.
