Perth festival patron jailed for biting cop
The four-centimetre puncture wound drew blood and left bruising.

An 24-year old woman who assaulted a policeman at Perth’s Origin NYE festival while he was escorting her out has been jailed for six months by the Perth Magistrates Court.
Amina Robert Lowoja was at the festival in December 2016 when she began fighting with festival security.
The WA Police Union stated on Facebook:
“While obtaining her account of events, she kicked a security officer to his abdomen.
“When our member was placing her under arrest, she lent in and bit his left upper bicep.”
The four-centimetre puncture wound drew blood and left bruising.
